After years of experience and thought, ML Makeup Artistry came to be in January 2007. Megan McHollister, founder of ML Makeup Artistry, crossed over from the fashion industry and into the makeup field quite unexpectedly. Having been fresh out of school, with an education in fashion, she enrolled in makeup artistry to better communicate her ideas with the artists she was working with. It was during this time her passion surfaced. Her love of people, beauty and fashion had all come together!
Over the past years, Megan and ML Makeup Artistry have had the opportunity to work with many talented individuals and meet some amazing people. Megan was a member of the Giorgio Armani Cosmetics team, during their Vancouver launch in 2004 and has also graced the counter of Nars Cosmetics at Holt Renfrew. Having worked on music videos, fashion shows, photo shoots, video games, and of course weddings, our diversified experience is a valuable asset to any project.
